Declaration on the obligation to inform

(Privacy Policy)

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website.

Contact with us

If you contact us by form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

Data storage

We would like to point out that for the purpose of simplifying the shopping process and for the subsequent processing of the contract, the IP data of the connection owner are stored by the webshop operator within the framework of cookies, as well as the name, address and account information of the purchaser.

In addition, the following data will also be stored by us for the purpose of contract processing: Company name, address, contact person, telephone number, fax number, email addresses. The data provided by you are necessary for the fulfillment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without this data we cannot conclude the contract with you. No data is transferred to third parties, with the exception of the transfer of account information to the processing bank/payment service provider for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company/shipping company commissioned by us for the delivery of the goods and to our tax advisor for the fulfillment of our tax obligations.

After termination of the purchase process, the data stored by us will be deleted. In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the retention period under tax law (7 years).

The data name, address, purchased goods and purchase date will be stored beyond that until the expiry of product liability (10 years).  The data processing is based on the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 TKG and Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and / or lit b (necessary for the performance of the contract) of the GDPR.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your terminal device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage.

We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases.

If you disable cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Web analysis

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. Cookies are used for this purpose, which enables an analysis of the use of the website by your users. The information thus generated is transferred to the provider's server and stored there.

You can prevent this by setting up your browser so that no cookies are stored.

We have concluded a corresponding contract with the provider for order data processing.

Your IP address is recorded, but immediately pseudonymized. This means that only a rough localization is now possible.

The relationship with the web analytics provider is based on standard contractual clauses/an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

The data processing is based on the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 TKG as well as Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and the GDPR.

Our concern in terms of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our website. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymized.

Third country transfer

Insofar as data is processed outside the EU/EEA and there is no level of data protection corresponding to the European standard, we have concluded EU standard contractual clauses https://business.safety.google/adsprocessorterms/sccs/eu-c2p/ with the service provider to establish an appropriate level of data protection. The parent company of Google Ireland, Google LLC, is based in California, USA. A transfer of data to the USA and access by US authorities to the data stored by Google cannot be ruled out. We use Microsoft Clarity to better understand the needs of our users and to optimise the offer on our website. With the help of Clarity technology, we gain a better understanding of our users' experiences (e.g. how much time is spent on a page, which links are clicked on, which products are more in focus than others, etc.). This helps us to customise our offering according to our users' feedback. Clarity works with cookies and other technologies to obtain information about the behaviour of users and their end devices (including the IP address of the device in anonymised form, screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser used, location (country), preferred language for displaying our website). Facebook pixel

We use the Facebook pixel from Facebook on our website. For this purpose, we have implemented a code on our website. The Facebook pixel is a snippet of JavaScript code that loads a collection of functions that allow Facebook to track your user actions if you came to our website through Facebook ads. For example, when you purchase a product on our website, the Facebook pixel is triggered and stores your actions on our website in one or more cookies. These cookies allow Facebook to match your user data (customer data such as IP address, user ID) with your Facebook account data. Then Facebook deletes this data again. The collected data is anonymous and not visible to us and can only be used in the context of ad placements. If you yourself are a Facebook user and are logged in, the visit to our website is automatically assigned to your Facebook user account. We want to show our services or products only to those people who are really interested in them. With the help of Facebook pixels, our advertising measures can be better tailored to your wishes and interests. Thus, Facebook users (if they have allowed personalized advertising) get to see suitable advertising. Furthermore, Facebook uses the collected data for analysis purposes and its own advertisements. If you are logged in to Facebook, you can change your settings for ads yourself at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen . If you are not a Facebook user, you can basically manage your usage-based online advertising on http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/ . There you have the option to deactivate or activate providers.

Google Remarketing

This website uses Google Remarketing technology from Google Inc. ("Google"). For this purpose, cookies are stored on your computer, with the help of which third-party providers, including Google, record which of our websites were visited with your browser. This information can be used to present our ads to you at a later time on other websites, e.g. as part of Google Search or on websites of the Google network. For more information on Google's data protection and how remarketing works, please see Google's privacy policy. You can also deactivate the storage of cookies here through your browser settings and/or object to collection as part of Google Remarketing through the Google ad settings.

LinkedIn Insight Tag

We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag from LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. This tool creates a cookie in your web browser that enables the collection of, among other things, the following data: IP address, device and browser properties, and page events (e.g. page views). This data is encrypted, anonymized within seven days, and the anonymized data is deleted within 90 days. LinkedIn does not share personally identifiable information with us, but provides anonymized reports on website audience and ad performance. LinkedIn offers the possibility of retargeting via the Insight Tag. We can use this data to display targeted advertising outside our website without identifying you as a website visitor. You can find more information about data protection at LinkedIn in the LinkedIn privacy notices. LinkedIn members can control the use of their personal data for advertising purposes in their account settings. To deactivate the Insight tag on our website ("opt-out") click here
