The transparency and authenticity of the specified photometric data of the individual LED illuminants and LED luminaires as well as the integrated LED lighting and control technology are the basic prerequisite for economically and ecologically sustainable energy efficiency. Care must be taken to ensure that the nominal values match the actual measured values.
Color temperature is used to quantify the color impression of a light source. The color temperature is the temperature of a black body**, which belongs to a certain color of the light emitted by the illuminant. When a black body is heated, the light color changes from initially dark red to orange and yellow-white to blue-white.
COLOR DISTRIBUTION INDEX CRI
The color rendering index is given in Ra and thus evaluates the quality of the color rendering of light sources. Warm white light has a high red content compared to neutral and cool white light. This leads to different color sensations.
